Die Shear Tester - Model 560

 

The Model 560 Die Shear tester is designed with a vacuum driven shear force and hold down to provide quiet, vibration free operation.  

 

The force range of the Anza 560 is from 100 grams to 65,000 grams in 1 gram increments.

Alignment of the die to the shear tool in X, Y and Theta is easily accomplished since the work holder is free standing.  An air bearing has been designed into this tester to freely move the nest plate into alignment.  With a flip of a switch, the nest tool is locked down in place, ready to start the shear process.  Easy access and adjustment of the Z arm is accomplished by turning the large wheel near the bottom of the Z-arm tower.

 

Calibration is checked by and adjusted using a set dead weights and a 25kg force gauge.
